My dad passed away last month.
He’s the reason I started drawing in the first place. I grew up watching him sketch and paint just for the joy of it. I went to school for illustration because of him — but life took me into design, and eventually creative direction. Somewhere along the way, I stopped making the kind of art that made me feel something.
After he passed, I felt this pull to get back to it. Not just drawing again, but creating worlds. Storytelling. Making art with meaning.
